My 8 non-negotiables in my late 40s — I wish I had started sooner…”
1. Movement that actually moves my lymphatics. Walking & rebounding aren’t just cardio. They’re drainage. Detox. Your lymphatic system needs YOU to move it.
2. Lifting heavy. 🏋🏻♀️ Muscle protects your metabolism, your bones, your hormones. Pick up the heavy thing. Put it down. Repeat.
3. Protein + Whole Foods — every single meal is either building me up or breaking me down. I choose to build. Occasional treat 🍦
4. Morning sunlight & circadian rhythm since your hormones are ruled by light and timing. Getting outside within the first 30 minutes of waking is one of the most powerful free tools you have. Use it. ☀️
5. Sleep like it’s my job — because it is. This is when your body repairs, your hormones reset, and your brain clears out what doesn’t serve it. 😴
6. Stress management & adrenal love because cortisol left unchecked will rob you of progesterone, tank your thyroid, destroy your sleep & wreck your gut. 🎯 Protecting your adrenals is protecting everything downstream.
7. Gut health * MOST IGNORE THIS * you can eat the perfect diet & still be malnourished if your gut isn’t absorbing properly. Digestion, absorption, elimination. 💩
8. Do hard things daily. discipline is self-love in disguise. Consistency isn’t perfection. It’s showing up anyway.
