Imagine it's your job to get more people to take the stairs instead of an escalator.
You could appeal to logic and tell people it's healthier.
You could use brute force and shut off the escalator to make stairs the only option.
Or, you could apply "The Fun Theory" like Volkswagen did in Sweden.
They installed musical stairs at a subway station. As a result, 66% more people took the stairs. The key to getting more people to take the stairs was to just make it more fun.
Granted, perhaps the novelty effect may eventually wear off and some people could go back to using the escalator.
Nevertheless, this brings up a point about your success.
Take health.
Sometimes eating healthy, and especially exercising, can feel like a chore.
You can use logic to tell yourself you "should" do it. Or force yourself to do it through sheer discipline. However, sometimes there's a more elegant solution...
Make it fun.
Personally, the idea of running on a treadmill for an hour sounds extremely boring. Yet an hour of (Jiu Jitsu) can be a lot more enjoyable for me and provide an even better workout.
It may seem obvious to do more of what's fun, yet some people think things have to be hard. It's that whole "no pain, no gain" mentality.
I'm not saying achieving your goals is always going to be sunshine and rainbows. However, it doesn't have to always be painful either.
Whether it's fitness or any other area, take something you've been procrastinating on.
Then consider, "What would this look like if it were fun? How could I achieve the same outcome in a way I enjoy?"
You may find there's a way to have more fun AND achieve your goals as a 'side effect'.
Because the truth is, you don’t need to work out harder to get to your goals, you only need to identify the root cause that stopping you from losing weight and a solution for that
If you need help identifying that root cause of why your body is not responding.
