TASC of Southeast Ohio is an outpatient treatment center in six counties certified through the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS). TASC - Treatment Alternative to Street Crime
TASC of Southeast Ohio's mission is to enrich and strengthen individuals, families and communities by creating positive, life changing opportunities for all consumers. TASC case managers work closely with judges, probation officers, jail administrators and treatment providers to provide effective and comprehensive programming. TASC assessments are frequently used in pre-sentence investigation reports to inform sentencing judges as to the need, as well as the level of care, for addiction treatment as needed as a condition of community control. The admission procedure begins with screening and intake conducted at the time of initial contact and focuses on eligibility and need for services. Admission Criteria
• Client expresses willingness to attend services
• If the client is a minor, the involvement of the parent or guardian is required in the intake process

• TASC accepts individuals who are covered under Ohio's Medicaid Program from any of Ohio's 88 counties
• Grant money is available to pay for services provided by TASC, the only requirement is to have legal involvement and live within our agency’s six county catchment area
The comprehensive services provided by TASC include:
• Referral and Information - TASC of Southeast Ohio staff will respond to individuals regarding services provided by our agency or by another healthcare organization.
• Intervention - Intervention is provided to identify the existence of any substance abuse problems and subsequent needed services.
• Assessment - Assessment services are provided by our qualified staff members who evaluate individuals to determine the nature and extent of his/her possible problem with substances.
• Case management - Case Management services are provided by our staff to assist and support individuals in gaining access to medical, social, educational and other services essential to meeting basic human needs.
• Individual Counseling - One-on-one counseling skills and techniques are used by qualified clinicians to assist individuals in achieving their unique treatment objectives.
• Group Counseling - Qualified TASC clinicians use their expertise to assist individuals in a group setting to achieve their unique treatment objectives.
• Crisis Intervention - Services are available with the goal of providing or assisting obtaining necessary resources to stabilize a crisis situation.
• Drug Testing - Urinalysis testing is used to determine the presence of alcohol and/or other drugs either by a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certified laboratory or by urine dip screen.
• Intensive Outpatient - TASC provides a primary treatment program for nine or more contact hours per week in a structured program or six hours per week for adolescents.
• Transportation - TASC has transportation services available for those who don't have access to their own form of transportation. TASC of Southeast Ohio proudly has offices in six counties in Ohio. These are all of our locations and their contact information:
