Family Health Care is pleased to welcome Arman Salim, DO, to its clinic in Grant, expanding access to comprehensive, compassionate medical care for individuals and families in the community.

Dr. Salim is a board-certified family medicine physician who is passionate about building lasting relationships with his patients and promoting lifelong wellness. He provides a full range of primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment for patients of all ages.

“We are excited to have Dr. Salim join our clinical team in Grant,” said Julie Tatko, CEO at Family Health Care. “His dedication to patient-centered care makes him a valuable addition to our clinic and the communities we serve.”

Dr. Salim received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana, and completed his residency in family medicine at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alpena.

“Having grown up in a small town in rural Indiana, I have a deep understanding of the challenges faced in rural communities,” said Dr. Salim. “I hope to bring my firsthand experience, training, and dedication to advance Family Health Care’s mission of increasing access to quality care in Newaygo County.”

We’re excited to share that we were awarded two of the fifteen 2025 SCHA-MI Community and Support Services Mini Grants, one for Baldwin/White Cloud and one for Evart School-Based Health Centers! Each grant totaled $10,000.

Our teams partnered with schools and local agencies to identify unmet needs, especially for families facing homelessness, displacement, food insecurity, or limited access to hygiene essentials. Staff worked hard behind the scenes to create a system for distribution, prepare storage space, and order and receive vital supplies.

Thanks to this collaboration, we’re now better equipped to support students and families when they need it most.
