Central Idaho Counseling is a small mental health agency serving multiple locations in rural Idaho (McCall and surrounding areas including Donnelly, New Meadows, Cascade, Horseshoe Bend, Garden Valley, Riggins, Council, Emmett, Fruitland, and Grangeville).
Clients receive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness from our clinical staff, as well as case management for individuals who qualify as suffering from a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. Also offered is substance abuse treatment program that offers classes/groups and individual counseling, transportation, and case management. Licensed clinicians are qualified to facilitate classes/groups as well as those with drug/alcohol certifications.

Our professional staff work directly with our clients to identify concerns, establish priorities, learn coping skills, and develop solutions to achieve their goals. Therapist/Counselor/Graduate level or Licensed Mental Health Professionals:
We offer clinical supervision for those working toward licensure, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate degree in counseling profession
-Professional licensure as one of the following: psychologist, licensed social worker (either LMSW or LCSW), professional counselor (either LPC or LCPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist.
- Maintain professional liability insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check through Idaho Department of Health and Welfare
Ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations
Hours:
Flexible. Position is part-time to start with a potential to increase to full-time as the demand grows. Unless we have a clinician leaving the area, most clinicians grow and develop their clientele base to where they prefer to have it.
Duties:
- Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments and addendums
- Develop treatment goals with the client and family as appropriate
- Develop individualized treatment plans with clients within required timeframes
- Assess need and recommend enhanced mental health services as appropriate
- Provide individual and family therapy using evidence based treatment modalities
- Consult, coordinate, and collaborate with members of interdisciplinary team
- Other duties as required
Teacher/skill trainer/Drug/Alcohol Class Facilitator/Mental Health and/or SUD Case Manager:

Community Based Rehabilitation Specialist position: We are looking for individuals with bachelor's degrees who have experience working with kids, teens, or adults struggling with mental health, behavioral, or social-skill issues. You may be working with them at their school, in the office, in their homes, or various community settings.
Case Manager: We are looking to hire someone who would like to help people struggling with mental illness as a Case Manager. We are looking for individuals with their Bachelor's degree in the social sciences, and with experience working with kids, teens, or adults who struggle with mental health issues. You will be working with them in the office or in their homes to help them find the resources they need to live independently and have their needs met.
Those with specific drug/alcohol certifications are able to provide class/group instruction and/or evaluations.
Part to full-time positions are open, depending on client availability. Choose your hours, and we'll try to fill your need. Work is in the McCall and surrounding area (including Cascade and New Meadows) and Garden Valley. Pay starts at $18/hr. Those providing drug/alcohol treatment are reimbursed at a higher rate.
Job duties include carrying out therapeutic service plans to teach social and psychological skills, and to help clients obtain the resources in their community that they need to be successful. Training and supervision by a licensed therapist are provided. Competitive wages and flexible hours.
