It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a dear member of our LSH family. Gill McCoy was a brother, friend, and chef to us here at Little Ski Hill.
During the Summer of 2023 we launched our Brunch operations. Behind the daily efforts and delicious Menu spread were two siblings making it all happen, Leslie and Gill. Chances are if you have spent any time gathering at the Little Ski Hill lodge you have met one of the McCoy siblings. Leslie has been our Lodge Manager for 8 years. When it became a reality for PLSC to open our facility during the warmer months, she wrangled in two of her brothers to come work with us. Herself and Gill acting as the masterminds in the kitchen, and brother Mike holding things down in the dish-pit.
Among a long list of admirable attributes, Gill and Leslie’s drive and unwavering team efforts these past years have proven to be irreplaceable. Gill has been an essential part to our establishment for many reasons and will always hold title as the ultimate ‘Quiche Baker’.
Gill will be remembered for his feisty sense of humor, devotion to his family and connection that he held for the places and humans he loved.

Payette Lakes Ski Club has made the decision to close our 2025 Brunch operations at Little Ski Hill, after this weekend. This includes the conclusion of our dinner series as well.
Monday, August 25th will be our closing day for the summer season. We hope you visit us during our final weekend. Please be mindful that certain items may not be available or running low by the end of the weekend.

9am- 2pm // Saturday, Sunday and Monday
