Closing Day at Little Ski Hill, 2026. 🫶🏼

Our closing days were filled with joyous final T•Bar laps and a lodge full of people enjoying pizza slices and burgers or sipping on local brews. The snow was bleak, but remained soft and surfy for our final hours of the 25/26 season.

Closing weekend weather called for rain but we were provided with bursts of sunshine and a slight wind.
We hosted our 15th Annual LSH Banked Slalom on March 14th. 65 competitors achieved 130 laps through our course. It was a day full of shredding and having fun with friends.
This event would not have been possible without our hard-working crew, operations staff, patrol, dedicated volunteers, event sponsors and prize sponsors.

While this season posed its challenges due to weather, we are still here and grateful for all of you. Stay tuned for upcoming fundraising events and summer activities hosted by Payette Lakes Ski Club!

Call your ski pals and get the pups out of the house, early this week for a Nordic ski. Trails are currently skiing great, but the approaching warm weather may put a halt to our grooming operations at Bear Basin Nordic Center. Finish the season strong, we’ll see you on the trails!

Mack’s Loop is closed, but all other Nordic trails are open and in great shape! Get out soon. We anticipate grooming trails through April 1st, snow conditions permitting.

Well folks, we have officially skied and slashed off most of the snow on our Little Ski Hill slopes. This Saturday, March 14th we will wrap up our 88th year.
Come out and snag your final T•Bar laps and fulfil your lodge cravings from the kitchen!
•LSH is closed today - Thursday.
•Open Friday, 5pm - Dark.
🌅 Closing Day Hours: Noon - 6pm.

Hours subject to change, due to shifting snow conditions.

This season has had its challenges with battling uncertain weather patterns, but we remain eternally grateful for all of you who continue to show up for us here at Payette Lakes Ski Club! 💛

Good morning!
Little Ski Hill will be operating the T•Bar on shorter hours today and tomorrow.
•Wednesday 3.4.26 // 3:30pm - 7pm
•Thursday 3.5.26 // 3:30pm - 7pm
We will soon have an update regarding open hours for the remainder of the week, into the weekend.

Tonight, is hosting an inspiring film series with Q&A from featured Athlete and Director. This is an event you won’t want to miss. Join us in the lodge at 7pm.

Saturday, March 7th is hosting his
High School Senior Project in form of a community Rail Jam at LSH. Come support the hill and his efforts!

That’s a wrap on our 2026 After School Program! Another 7-weeks of getting local kids on snow. Experiencing the confidence shift in our youth from the first day they arrive at Little Ski Hill, to the last day is incredible. This goes not only for our students but our instructors and parents as well. By week two, everyone finds their groove, and are joyously rushing to get into gear and on the T•Bar.

We have so many humans to thank, who make our After School Program a great success!
⭐️ Our amazing ASP Director, Desi Hines and Program Coordinator, Casey Jeffus are on hill and behind every move navigating daily program operations. We offer transportation from school to the hill. That wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated Magic Ski Bus and Van drivers. Our instructing staff is made up majorly of Middle and High School students from our local school districts, many who spent formative years in our program. The folks that continue to show up and instruct bring happiness, positive progress and encouragement, that is felt every day. If you’ve been in our LSH lodge between the hours of 3:15pm and 5:30pm, you may have witnessed the buzzing line of individuals buying goodies to stay fueled for all the fun. Leslie McCoy is our lodge manager, along with her and all of our lodge staff they provide delicious food, drinks and fresh baked cookies daily. Thanks to Preston Woods, crew, patrol, and our lift and hill operations team for keeping everyone moving up and down our slopes smoothly! Last but not least, we want to give a big round of applause to Parents, Volunteers and Community Partners who are always going above and beyond to fulfill needs and provide support. Thank you for showing up for us, the youth and our community! ⭐️

We are filled with an overwhelming surge of gratitude here at Payette Lakes Ski Club, over the fact that we were able to host another season and assist in providing a space for roughly 200 kiddos to improve skills on skis and snowboards. 💚

Come get your fill of Tacos and night laps on the T•Bar, this Tuesday! We start serving Tacos at 6pm. Baja and Beef Tacos on the menu, with plenty of beverages flowing. 🌮

🏁 Town Race League will be taking place as well.
