Exercise is powerful medicine, especially during and after cancer treatment.

New research from the New England Journal of Medicine shows that cancer patients who followed a structured, personalized exercise program for three years saw a 37% improvement in survival rates and a 28% decrease in recurrence compared to those receiving standard care.

The passing of Direct Access HB 232, a bill that has been 35 years in the making, is a significant milestone for physical therapy in Alabama.

It's a testament to the dedication and perseverance of many individuals who have worked tirelessly to bring about this change, and TherapySouth has been at the forefront of these efforts.
