🚑 Strengthening Rural Trauma Care Through Teamwork
Emergency and healthcare professionals from across the region recently came together for a Rural Trauma Team Development Course (RTTDC)—an intensive, hands-on training focused on improving trauma response in rural healthcare settings. Hosted through a collaboration between Fulton County Medical Center and Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, the course emphasized communication, coordination, and real-world trauma scenarios to better prepare teams when seconds matter most.

Fulton County Medical Center’s Diagnostic Imaging Department is now fully nationally accredited in all five modalitites, earning recognition from the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
Our department holds accreditation in:

✔ MRI
✔ Mammography
✔ Ultrasound
✔ Nuclear Medicine
While we may be a smaller, rural hospital, our patients can feel confident knowing they receive gold‑standard imaging services, close to home. This achievement reflects our team’s dedication to quality, safety, and exceptional patient care.
