💙 Grief Support Group Begins September 23 💙

Have you recently lost a loved one? You’re not alone.

Community Hospital invites adults to join our Grief Support Group, beginning Tuesday, September 23, from 4:30-6:00 PM. This group offers a safe space to share, heal, and connect with others who understand.

📍 Temporary Shell Space Meeting Room, Community Hospital
(Please park in the McCook Clinic parking lot and enter through the Convenient Care entrance at the north part of the clinic.)

Each year, prior to Christmas, our funeral home extends an invitation to families we have served throughout the past year to attend a Service of Remembrance in honor of their loved ones. We were pleased to have the Kapella Brass group join us again this year to provide the prelude and postlude music. Pastor Jeremy Labrie delivered a poignant message regarding the stages of grief and the importance of allowing oneself time to grieve. Interspersed between the messages and prayers, Kerri Unger treated the families to three beautiful and moving songs. Custom-made cardinal ornaments with each loved one’s name, created by Kelsey at New Life Christian Store, were given to each family. Following the service, we hosted a cookie and refreshment reception. The delectable cookies were provided by Cliff Bach, the Busy Baker from Trenton. The exquisite arrangements displayed on our sign-in and cookie tables were designed by Keystone Floral and McCook Greenhouse and Country Floral, our talented local flower shops. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all who helped make the service a memorable one. We could not have done it without you.
