If you have been in our office, you’ve probably heard the announcement, “We have a graduation!” when we are celebrating one of our patients who have completed vision therapy.

Today, we want to congratulate Ms. Jessalyn on getting her COVT!

To become a certified vision therapist through OVDRA, Jessalyn had to complete 9 papers on various therapy-related topics, pass a multiple choice exam, and complete an in-person oral interview to test her knowledge.

We are so proud of all her hard work!

Our therapists were able to attend OVDRA in Louisville this week for continuing education. We LOVE to learn new approaches and gain insights from others in the vision therapy field so we can better serve our patients at Focus Vision Therapy!

Ms. Kristine has nominated Maverick for Patient of the Week!
Maverick comes to vision therapy every week ready to work and continuously works diligently to meet his goals and do his best. Maverick has especially worked hard on saccades and sentence copy practice and has now achieved above age level for these areas! Way to go Maverick! He even practiced sentence copying on his own without being assigned as homework! We are so proud of you Maverick!!

Brianna is our patient of the week!
Brianna recently met goal for VTS4 Multiple Choice Vergence and met goal for 1-letter window chart at 20 feet. She is always enthusiastic about vision therapy and continues to work hard each week. Congrats to Brianna!!
