EmpowerHer Family,

If you haven't already heard, Katelyn will be out of office on maternity leave from May 21 – July 6!

During this time, EmpowerHer will not be scheduling New GYN/Menopause patients or scheduling routine follow-up visits with her. If needs arise, Jacquelyn Weller, FNP-C will be available to support patients during this time.

For new or established patients hoping to see Katelyn before leave, we encourage scheduling as soon as possible, as availability is limited.

Valentine’s Day centers around love and connection—but intimacy isn’t always simple or easy to talk about.

Join us for an honest, educational evening focused on female intimacy and sexual health. This event is designed to break down barriers, normalize common concerns, and offer hope through informed, compassionate conversation. It is appropriate for adult women in all stages.

Featuring expert speakers:
• Dr. Keri Vicente Flores, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
• Katelyn Blackmon, WHNP-BC & Sexual Medicine Provider
• Dr. Sheila Dennis, LCSW, Mental Health Therapist

We’ll discuss:

We’re still adding a few final touches as we settle in, but it’s already been such a joy welcoming so many incredible women into this space. We’re deeply grateful for the patients—both new and familiar—who have supported us since April 2024. Sharing this next chapter with you has meant everything.
