It’s a bittersweet day for us! We remember well when Kate Spade committed su***de. We weren’t all that sympathetic. She was Billionaire. She was famous. She had a beautiful family. What the hell was HER problem?
Then we (those of us in the restaurant industry) got the news. Anthony Bourdain had committed su***de. What. The. Hell? Many of us were curled up in the fetal position, sucking our thumbs. The injustice! WHY?
We got it. We finally realized what the fashion industry was feeling. And we empathized.
Two legends in their respective fields, gone. Forever. But, NEVER forgotten.
