Southern Grace Hospice 🦋 Proudly recognized as Georgia’s highest-rated hospice by Medicare Hospice Compare.

We’re here to serve with heart, compassion, and dedication — because every life deserves to be honored with grace and dignity. Founded by a nurse with a passion to change and improve end of life care, Southern Grace Hospice has the desire to serve and deliver compassionate and holistic end of life care. Our team members do not view the care we provide as "work", but instead a ministry in which we can serve and better then lives of those around us. With the lowest staff-to-patient ratios in the area, we are able to spend more time with our patients and take pride in going the extra mile. Every single member of our team focus on the physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial needs of our patients and families. We truly live by the scripture "Bear ye one another's burden and so fulfill the law of Christ" Galatians 6:2. At Southern Grace, we don't focus on "death and dying”, but instead "life and living". We take pride in going beyond the call of duty to deliver the compassionate care that those suffering with a life limiting illness need and deserve.

Serving others doesn’t pause for the holidays. ❤️ This Christmas Eve, Southern Grace Hospice delivered our snack baskets to local fire stations as a gesture of gratitude and encouragement.

We are blessed to uplift those whose calling keeps them on-call, faithfully serving others, even on Christmas.

If you’re working this holiday while time with family waits, please know you are deeply appreciated for the sacrifice you make and the care you give. Our healthcare and first responder heroes do not go unnoticed. ✨🎄

Christmas at Southern Grace Hospice is about sharing joy in the simplest ways. ❤️

Each year, our nurses personally fill stockings for each patient with soothing soaps, comforting gifts, and our custom Southern Grace baby dolls, each one a tangible reminder of God’s love and the care that surrounds our patients. 🌲 ✨

For many caregivers, the holidays arrive with added responsibility and little time to pause.

In this holiday edition of our Grace In Action Podcast, Isabella speaks with Renee, one of our chaplains, about caring for yourself while caring for someone you love. Renee offers gentle guidance to rest when possible, breathe deeply, and seek moments of peace through prayer and worship. Her words remind us that faith can renew strength and provide direction when the days feel heavy.

If you are supporting a loved one during the holidays, please know that encouragement and guidance are always available to you. You do not have to navigate this season on your own. 💙

Santa Day at Southern Grace 🎅🏼✨ Hospice work is meaningful, and often heavy. That’s why we are intentional about caring for the hearts of those who serve so faithfully each day.

In this Christmas season, we pause to celebrate moments of joy that uplift our team, restore weary spirits, and remind us that God’s light meets us in every season.

We are deeply grateful for our incredible employees and for our very own Santa who helped make this day a reflection of Christ’s joy and love. ❤️🌲

Behind the scenes, a quiet kind of care is taking place. 🧵

This holiday season, our volunteers are sewing handmade pillows for families who may be facing their first Christmas without someone they love. Each stitch is a small act of compassion, meant to offer comfort, a sense of closeness, and a reminder that their grief matters.

We are deeply grateful for these thoughtful hands and generous hearts, who bring warmth and encouragement to families navigating the holidays with heavy hearts. 💙

25 wishlists, 25 lives to bless! 💙

Adopt-A-Senior is one of our favorite December traditions, an opportunity to shower elders in our community with encouragement, dignity, and love.

Taking time to shop for each individual’s interests and wrap every gift with Southern Grace style is a welcomed pause in the busyness of the season. As we’re reminded, ‘Let each of us look not only to our own interests, but also to the interests of others’ Philippians 2:4. ✨ This is Christmas, lived out!

Thank youHenry County Senior Servicess for organizing this beautiful effort to bless our community! 🌲

What does care look like in the comfort of home? It looks like quiet check-ins, thoughtful attention that brings relief, and support for caregivers who pour out so much each day.

It sounds like calm conversation, shared prayers, and the steady presence of someone who understands.
It’s the small, grace-filled moments that make all the difference. 💙

Southern Grace was honored to bring a touch of Christmas magic to our patients and families this week. ✨

Santa’s visits brought soft joy to quiet rooms and warm laughter to shared moments. We’re humbled by the childlike wonder that continues to shine, even in the most tender seasons of life. ❤️

On the final day of our Grace for the Season series, we are reminded of the God who comforts us in every circumstance — so that we, in turn, can offer comfort and hope to others. ❤️

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” — 2 Corinthians 1:3–4

As this series closes, may His grace continue to guide you, strengthen you, and flow through you to others. Let His comfort be your gift - both received and shared. Tell us in the comments, who has been a comfort to you this year? ✨

Our Bereaved Wives Breakfast Club spent a lovely afternoon on the McDonough square, Christmas shopping and soaking in the comfort that only shared understanding can bring. These women have built a bond rooted in compassion, courage, and community. ❤️

Thank you to the fantastic businesses of the Visit McDonough, GA square for welcoming our group with beautiful displays and heartwarming shopping moments. ✨

If your heart is longing for grief-centered support, we invite you to join us in the new year. All are welcome.
