We here at Sports and Spine Institute are a family and it is with great sadness to inform our patrons the passing of one of our own, Bonnie Cochran. On Tuesday, September 26th Bonnie left this earth to be with her heavenly father Jesus Christ.
Bonnie was an exceptional and dedicated employee who was full of life and loved her patients. To know her was to love her and we all know she loved her DAWGS although Blue and Brownie were her favorite. RIP Bonnie. Here's to one last T.G.I.F.

Who is Dr. Amrish Patel?

Dr. Amrish Patel is a physiatrist at the Sports and Spine Institute in Marietta and McDonough, GA, who focuses on providing non-surgical physical medicine and rehabilitation to patients in the Atlanta area who have gone through an injury or who suffer from a disease, a disorder, or a condition that has had a negative impact on their overall quality of life. As a Georgia native, Dr. Patel began his education at the University of Georgia in Athens before heading to Georgia State University to complete a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy. After working for several years as a physical therapist, he earned his Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University. He moved to the Northeast to complete his residency, becoming administrative chief resident at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation and receiving a fellowship from the University of Pittsburgh. He returned home to Georgia, where his practice at Sports and Spine helps patients get back on their feet and return to living their lives to the fullest!
