Before and After: Surgical Scar Treatment

This before & after is the result of over a year of dedication, consistency, and teamwork between our patient and our Skin Health Trainers.

This patient’s journey began with a customized treatment plan designed to meet her skin’s unique needs:

🖤Kenalog & PRP injections – Kenalog helped reduce scar thickness and inflammation, while PRP (platelet-rich plasma) jump started the body’s natural healing process with powerful growth factors.
🖤BBL (Broad Band Light) – Targeted the discoloration in the scar, helping to even out pigmentation and blend it with surrounding skin.
🖤SkinPen with Ariessence – Created microchannels to stimulate collagen, smooth scar texture, and support long term healing.

This was not a quick fix, it was a year-long commitment, but the results speak for themselves. Her scar is now lighter, smoother, and far less noticeable.

September is National Skincare Awarness!

Even though I’m the Marketing Specialist at ANEU and work in the skincare industry every single day, that doesn’t mean I’m immune to skin struggles. My journey is proof that acne does not discriminate. And honestly, I could not have done this without our incredible Skin Health Trainers, my coworkers who guided, encouraged, and educated me through every step.

Adult cystic acne has been one of the hardest, yet most rewarding journeys I’ve ever gone through. It took me 6 months of patience, determination, and a lot of trial and error to finally achieve the skin I dreamed of.

We tried different skincare products, I learned the difference between purging vs. breaking out, and we created a treatment plan that truly worked for me: Chemical Peels, BBL + Forever Clear, and Microneedling with PDGF for post-acne scarring. Along the way, I also learned how much diet, hydration, and lifestyle play into skin health.

Your skin is your body’s largest organ, it needs so many different things to be “happy.” And while breakouts can feel overwhelming, remember this: your acne does not define you. We are all human, and every stage is part of the journey.

Be kind to yourself. Be kind to your skin. There is light at the end of the tunnel. 🖤
