April is Occupational Therapy Month, and we’re proud to celebrate the incredible impact our OT team has on the lives of our patients here at McGehee Hospital Rehabilitation!

A special thank you to our amazing Occupational Therapists, Blair and Scarlett, for the compassion, skill, and dedication they bring to our patients every single day.

Our Occupational Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence, confidence, and the ability to perform everyday activities that matter most—whether that’s getting dressed, preparing meals, returning to work, or simply enjoying daily routines again.

In both our Swing Bed program and Outpatient services, Blair and Scarlett work one-on-one with patients to create personalized treatment plans focused on improving strength, coordination, safety, and overall quality of life.

From recovering after surgery or illness to managing chronic conditions, they are here every step of the way—helping patients not just live, but live well.

Join us in thanking Blair and Scarlett for their dedication to helping our community thrive! 💙

If your world won’t stop spinning…
We’re here to help you re-center. 💙

Vertigo isn’t just “feeling dizzy.” It can feel like the room is spinning, tilting, or moving when you’re standing still. You might notice:
• Sudden spinning sensations
• Nausea
• Trouble walking straight
• Feeling off-balance or unsteady

The good news? Many cases of vertigo are caused by inner ear issues and respond very well to Outpatient Physical Therapy with vestibular rehabilitation. Our PTs are trained at McGehee Hospital Rehabilitation to treat this condition — often faster than people expect.

You don’t have to live life holding onto the walls.
Call us today to learn how outpatient therapy can help you feel steady and confident again.

❄️ Ice, ice… maybe! ❄️
We love a good workout — but not on icy sidewalks 😅

With the possibility of winter weather this weekend, we encourage everyone to use caution if you’re heading out. Your safety always comes first! If conditions affect our hours or require a closure, we’ll post updates right here on our page, so be sure to check before traveling.

Stay warm and stay safe! 🧤☃️
