In case you missed it on Wednesday, you still have the chance to create a beautiful sand art project at the McGregor Public Library today. Come between noon and 2:00 to work on your bottle or picture. Then stay for some fun international games from 2 to 4. We hope to see you soon!

Step into McGregor’s Past—Live at the Library!
Today at 3:30 PM – Wednesday, June 18

Join us at the McGregor Public Library for a special afternoon of living history! Local youth bring McGregor’s remarkable past to life in a series of short skits featuring some of our town’s most influential figures.

Maeve reprises her role in a scene with Elizabeth Updegraff and her trailblazing teacher, Lucy Salmon—McGregor principal turned Vassar’s first female history professor, who transformed the way we study the past.

Other young actors are performing as well -- Doc Bell the Pirate, Diamond Jo Reynolds, young Ringlings, and Diamond Jo Reynolds!

Did you know? The McGregor Library exists thanks to a bequest from Elizabeth Updegraff, who said in her will: “I want to give back to McGregor something of what it gave to me.”
