It's been a long time coming! Thrive Healthcare (your locally owned and operated medical practice) is growing. We have so many exciting updates, I'll try to keep it brief, but first....the WHY.
I've been asked quite a bit: why we stopped taking new primary care almost a year ago, why we slowed down, didn't keep hiring, didn't keep pushing, didn't take on an investor or open another location. And the answer is I am afraid. Afraid of hiring the wrong people, afraid of becoming just like the "big box medicine" we worked so hard to get away from. Afraid of overextending and losing the thing that made Thrive so special it literally exploded in growth overnight. So, I took a breath, took a year and really dug in. I wanted to make sure we continue to offer the best of the best to the patients who have already chosen us before we welcomed more.
I'm thrilled to announce we are there. We will have several more announcements over the next few months but for now here is what's happening at Thrive Healthcare:
👩⚕️TWO new providers - bios attached - Carolyn brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our primary care suite - I promise you guys are all going to love her. If you've been on our waiting list we will reach out. If you've just been waiting - give us a call or text and let's show her the love by booking her schedule 🥰
Olga - will be filling in a much needed gap for functional medicine. Most of you guys know I am integrative, I love avoiding medications when at all possible, but I am not functional medicine trained. I am heartbroken when I hear the stories of some other "functional medicine" visits and so I looked long and hard to find someone who is REALLY functional medicine in her heart and soul. If you've been looking for the missing piece - or if you've been taken advantage of by some nameless functional med provider that didn't do the real work please give Olga a chance. She is absolutely the smartest person I've ever sat down with.
📞 Telehealth - you've asked for it, we are getting it done. Olga will be Telehealth only - the other 3 providers will offer Telehealth for appropriate sick visits and follow ups. We are all busy, hopefully this will ease the burden and make life a little less stressful. Please note not all visits can be done via Telehealth - our receptionist will let you know if your visit qualifies.
📆 Fridays - Starting in October we will be open of Friday's! Med pickups, weigh in's, IV's, provider hours. You name it. We are now in the office 5 days a week!
