White Oaks at McHenry is a memory care community designed to serve older adults with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. Our program at White Oaks is designed to provide opportunities for residents to maintain a sense of purpose and belonging throughout the seasons of dementia. We focus on abilities rather than limitations because we understand that as we age our heart’s hopes and desires do not.

We had some visitors from the McHenry County Conservation District. A fox snake, a Blanding's turtle and a great horned owl. Sara and Nicky came along as well and we learned about the wide variety of wildlife that can be found right here in McHenry County!
