White Oaks at McHenry is a memory care community designed to serve older adults with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. Our program at White Oaks is designed to provide opportunities for residents to maintain a sense of purpose and belonging throughout the seasons of dementia. We focus on abilities rather than limitations because we understand that as we age our heart’s hopes and desires do not.

We marked the beginning of summer and the culmination of our Alzheimer's fundraising events with our Longest Day Singo Party! Staff, residents, family and friends of White Oaks McHenry and Heritage Woods McHenry got together for a fun filled evening of Singo (think bingo with music), food, drinks, raffles and concessions. Our "Made from the Heart" bracelet crew was on hand too with their beautiful bracelets. All proceeds benefited the Alzheimer's Association. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made these events a smashing success!
