Today, we pause, we reflect, we remember.

The Virginia Morticians’ Association honors the nearly 3,000 souls who lost their lives on September 11, 2001; the first responders who bravely ran toward danger; the families and loved ones forever changed by tragedy; the communities united in grief and in hope.

As funeral service professionals, we carry deep respect for lives honored and lost. We stand with all whose memories persist beyond 24 years ensuring they are never forgotten.

May we reflect, may we heal, and may we continue to uphold compassion, courage, and dignity for all. 💜💜💜
