Join me for a deeply restful Yoga Nidra journey at our Virtual Bliss Shala.

This evening’s practice will guide us through breath awareness, the So Ham mantra, chakra meditation, and a peaceful journey into a sacred forest sanctuary of candlelight, stillness, and deep rest.

Yoga Nidra is a powerful practice of conscious relaxation that can help calm the nervous system, quiet the mind, and reconnect us with a deeper sense of peace within.

Bring your blankets, bolsters, pillows, or anything that helps you feel warm, nurtured, and completely supported.

There is something deeply tender about growing older consciously.

Not fighting the changes…
not pretending they are not happening…
but learning to meet ourselves with compassion through it all.

Lately I’ve been reflecting on these Wisdom Years and the practice of listening more deeply to this changing body, this changing life.

One of the lines from my recent blog reads:

to rest the body… calm the nervous system…
and simply be held for a little while.

Lately I’ve been feeling a deep tenderness toward the world.

There is so much uncertainty and so many people carrying heavy hearts.

In moments like this, I return to something very simple.

I pause.
I breathe.
I notice the quiet life moving within me.

These small moments don’t change everything, but they remind me that goodness and light are still here.

And sometimes that is enough to help us breathe again.

Tomorrow evening, Thursday at 7:00 pm (Pacific Time), I’ll be offering a 60-minute Yoga Nidra in my Virtual Bliss Shala (Zoom), and members of this community are warmly invited to join.

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practiced lying down or comfortably seated, designed to support deep rest, nervous system regulation, and inner clarity. This particular practice is offered as a gentle pause at the threshold of a new year—an opportunity to let go of striving and allow a heartfelt intention to arise naturally.

✨ No yoga experience needed
✨ Perfect for all ages and bodies
✨ Come as you are—rest is the practice

You’ll be guided through relaxation, breath awareness, gratitude, and a quiet inner journey, all held in a supportive and accessible way. Many people leave feeling calmer, clearer, and deeply nourished.
