Seventeen years is something special 💛
This month we’re celebrating Dr. Kidd’s 17-year anniversary, a reflection of the consistency, care, and relationships she’s built with so many of our patients over the years.
We’re also celebrating several team members marking their first and second anniversaries, and we love seeing the next generation of our team grow right alongside her.
Help us celebrate them 🎉

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Each year, this observance exists to raise awareness, educate communities, and shift the culture around sexual violence.
If you or someone you love has experienced sexual assault, you are not alone. Healing looks different for everyone, and support is available whenever you are ready.
The RAINN National Sexual Assault Hotline is available 24/7 at 1-800-656-4673, or you can chat confidentially online at rainn.org.

Meet Jennifer Barbosa, WHNP-BC! 👋
Before finding her calling in women's health, Jennifer actually started her career in pediatrics. We love that her path brought her to us and to the women of McKinney!
Jennifer is passionate about helping women take an active role in their own healthcare, and that shows in everything she does. A McKinney local for 5 years, she is proud to serve the same community she calls home.
This week is Black Maternal Health Week, and we want to say it plainly: every mother deserves to be heard, respected, and cared for.
Black women in the U.S. face disproportionately higher risks during pregnancy and childbirth. That is not okay. Raising awareness is the first step toward change, and it starts with conversations like this one.
Black Maternal Health Week exists to bring attention to these disparities and to advocate for the systemic changes needed to protect every mother, at every stage of her journey.

An update from Kimberly 💛
What started as uncertainty has turned into something powerful, hope, strength, and a reminder of why early detection matters so much.
“Today, I am cancer free.”
Her journey isn’t over, but this moment is everything.
If there’s one thing she wants everyone to take away: get screened.
We’re so proud of you, Kimberly. 🤍

Today we’re celebrating the physicians who show up every single day with both skill and heart.
The early mornings, the hard conversations, the moments patients never forget, this work goes far beyond medicine.
We’re incredibly grateful for the doctors who care for our patients like they would their own family. 💛
