Is there a doctors appointment, or any other kind of check up you have been avoiding? Sometimes the hardest person to take care of is yourself.

Whether it is calling to schedule a much needed massage, or something less pleasant like bloodwork for a yearly doctors appointment, today's challenge is do that thing that you have been avoiding for your health.

Sometimes the hardest part is getting started with something we know we need to do but aren't looking forward to for whatever reason. When you focus on nourishing yourself as an individual you are the authority on the care and keeping of your physical body.

Our bodies are living breathing beings that need care, nourishment and the occasional check in, especially when demands have been high!

Part of being human is to be spend some time outside , it is so nourishing and healthy for our bodies to connect with the world around us in this way.

I love that word! This month we are going to focus on how to nourish the different aspects of our lives. We are going to be posting tips, tricks and ideas for how to help nourish, your mind, body, soul, and of course your health!

As the world speeds up sometimes it is important to dial back and focus on the little things, the things that make life worth living , like lunch with a friend, or a cup of coffee from your favorite shop, or a hug from a loved one.

Has it been a while? Even if it hasn't take some time today to write down what is bothering you and when you are finished with your list consider tearing it up.

Physically writing your stressors down and then tearing up the paper is physical release it helps are body to destress.
