In line with our mission to expand expert care to the entire Metroplex, we have opened a new office in McKinney, located conveniently just off of the Sam Rayburn Tollway. Dr. Chris Stroud will be providing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services at the new McKinney location. Dr. Stroud is a board-certified dermatologist with special interests in skin cancer prevention, acne, rosacea, psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with University Honors and College of Natural Sciences Honors. He earned his medical doctorate from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School and performed his internship at Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Stroud complete his dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he served as Chief Resident at the VA medical Center and county hospital system. While at BCM, Dr. Stroud completed several rotations in pediatric dermatology at the prestigious Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. He is an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society member and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also belongs to the Collin County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, and Texas Dermatological Society. Continuing education is important to Dr. Stroud, who has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and lectured at some of the top academic institutions in Texas.

Dr. Stroud’s wife grew up in McKinney, and he is very excited about being close to family and serving the McKinney community. He welcomes patients of all ages, from newborns to grandparents and everyone in between. The McKinney office offers same day and Saturday appointments to accommodate patient’s busy schedules.
