Job Title: Physical Therapist
Summary:
A Physical Therapist provides hands on treatment, guidance, and care to help patients with injuries and/or chronic health conditions to regain their range of motion, manage their pain, and improve their quality of life. This person develops an individualized, exercise-based plan for each patient based on history, evaluation, and time spent understanding each person’s unique needs and situation. The objective is to robustly care for each patient from evaluation to graduation of program to help every patient get better and stay active.
Qualifications:
-Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from a CAPTE accredited physical therapist program
-Strong interpersonal communication skills
-Compassionate and personable
-Creative problem solving
-Ability to balance good time management and individualized care
-Able to handle various projects simultaneously
-Flexible team player
Essential Duties:
-Reviews and assesses each patient’s medical history and referral notes
-Diagnoses patients by observing their movements and listening to their concerns
-Develops individualized treatment plans for patients
-Monitors progress and modifies plan of care if needed
-Builds relationship with the patient to ensure wholistic care
-Partners with other therapists and PTAs to create seamless therapy experience
-Keeps detailed, accurate notes regarding progress
-Educates patients and family members about the recovery process
Provides general assistance and support for clinic as needs arise
Work Hours:
32 hour work week: Mon, Wed, Fri 8-12; 2-6 and Tue, Thur 8-12
In addition to notes that can be done early mornings, over lunches, or at the end of the day
