When this family first walked through our doors, they were carrying a weight no parent ever wants to carry.

Their daughter was struggling deeply. Her moods were unpredictable. She was easily overwhelmed and quick to anger. There were heavy days filled with sadness, and at one point, even suicidal thoughts. They were searching — praying — for answers.

Why did they consider Reform Family Chiropractic?

As they researched different options, one thing stood out: the focus on the nervous system.

It made sense to them. If the brain and body aren’t communicating well, if the nervous system is stuck in stress mode, how can a child regulate emotions, process challenges, or feel steady? Addressing the neurological side of things felt like getting to the root instead of just managing symptoms.

They also shared that it meant a lot to them that Dr. Matt shares their faith and truly cares. They felt comfortable. Encouraged. Supported — not just clinically, but personally. They didn’t feel like a number. They felt known.

They know there is still progress ahead, but they are incredibly thankful for how far she has come.

When a child’s nervous system begins to regulate — when it shifts out of constant fight-or-flight — their body can finally exhale. And when the body can exhale, healing can begin.
