Awareness is key🔑
Most parents don’t think twice about these common OTC meds in the cabinet. If you have a teen in addiction, keep a close eye on these meds or store them out of reach of your teen.

The other day we had a teen write us a letter of appreciation, thanking our team for their help in this teen’s recovery journey. This teen is fairly quiet and doesn’t go into much detail about their life. It would be easy for adults to write this teen off as “resistant” or say that they “just don’t care” (which we know isn’t true). Part of this teen’s letter said: “All the advice y’all have given me through these last months has been very pivotal… I still take everything yall tell me into consideration.” This is your reminder that every teen you talk to is listening, whether they hear it in that moment or later on. Your words have an effect on them. You never know what words will end up sticking, and you may not realize the teen is listening in the moment, but being a consistent, safe support will show positive results nearly every single time. We continue to show up every single day for every single one of our kids because of amazing, strong kids like this one.

What does it mean when people say “relapse is a part of recovery”? It’s not an excuse to relapse or reassurance that relapse doesn’t have consequences… it’s an acknowledgement of the part relapse plays in LONG-TERM recovery. Relapse can serve as an opportunity for someone to accept the true power of the disease of addiction and learn what they need to do differently to make sure sobriety sticks.

Today we’re celebrating Natalya officially becoming an LCDC-I 🎉

This milestone reflects countless hours of learning, showing up, and doing the work with intention, integrity, and care. Watching her grow into this role has been such a privilege, and it’s an honor to support clinicians who are so deeply committed to ethical practice and serving teens and families well.

So proud of you, Natalya. This is a big deal, and it’s only the beginning. 🧡💛💙

A huge congratulations to this teen! Not only did they graduate from our IOP, but they will also be done with probation in just a few days. This teen put in years of work, and this week, it is all paying off with some major life changes. We can’t wait to see what all this teen will accomplish in the years to come! We are so proud. 🥳👏
