Today, we had the opportunity at the McKinney Homeless Coalition to learn more about the incredible work being done by CommonGood Medical. They are helping fill a critical gap—providing primary care services to individuals who are uninsured and don’t qualify for Medicaid. At GraceToChange, we see firsthand how many individuals face barriers to care. Thanks to county funding, we’re able to support our uninsured clients on their sobriety journey—but access to healthcare is just as vital. If you know someone who could benefit from primary care services, please help spread the word and connect them to CommonGood Medical. Together, we’re building healthier lives and stronger communities.

This weekend, our Executive Director, Shannon White, had the opportunity to speak with a group of young women in Frisco about current drug trends impacting our community. Education is a powerful tool, equipping our youth with the knowledge to understand the risks around them and the confidence to respond if they ever encounter an overdose situation.
