If you’ve been wanting to grind your own wheat, spelt, rye, or other grains into fresh flour, this is your sign. Fresh-milled flour makes an incredible difference in flavor, nutrition, and baking performance. Buy some fresh grain from strickland_farms_tx or bring your own grain, mill what you need, and take it home same day. Bring a new container to put the flour in as it tends to double the volume of the grain you put in it.

This is a community mill, offered free of charge on smaller volumes of grains to support local bakers, homesteaders, and food enthusiasts who want access to real food tools.

Friday night pizza movie night is a *very* important tradition in our house! 🍕 Because we are trying to avoid processed food, every Friday morning I take 10 minutes to mix up some pizza dough with freshly milled flour (recipe from ) This dough is full of fiber, protein, and vitamins, and free of all the junk that goes into ready-made store bought crusts, is easy to make, and tastes amazing!

Elderberry drops are what we use for immune maintenance at our house. They’re shelf stable, no need for refrigeration ever, and super tasty! This little bottle has 42 adult servings which makes it a better value than elderberry syrup but with the same amount of elderberry compound per serving. And since it’s honey free, it’s a great choice for ketogenic, diabetics, and babies under one!

New Product!

These bread bags have been a labor of love between my aunt/employee Candy and myself. I wanted to sell beeswaxed bread bags, and I wanted them to be a good design, good quality, and user-friendly. Candy and I designed, sewed and tested multiple prototypes before we came up with the PERFECT double-layered bread bags.

The inner organic cotton layer is lined with wax from our beehives which is moisturized and anti-microbial. The outer layer is easy to clean. The bag is large enough to fit a big sourdough boule, or two traditional loaves. It also holds rolls, dessert breads, tortillas, anything you want to keep fresh and soft.
