Suzannah “Suzi” Kawachi is a Certified Physician Assistant with a passion for general dermatology and cosmetics. Suzi graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology, and Art minor from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. She completed her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at South University in Tampa and graduated with Honors. During her time as a student, Suzi’s passion for dermatology grew during her dermatology-focused rotations, which included time at the Cutaneous Oncology team at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL.
Suzi is an active member in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants. Suzi is efficient yet empathetic, she bases her treatment plans on the goals of the individual patient. To better serve her patients, Suzi prides herself in staying up to date on the latest dermatology treatments. Patient’s concerns will be heard and addressed. She is also fluent in French. Growing up, Suzi spent time living in Senegal, West Africa, Northern Virginia, and Quebec City, Canada. During her free time, she enjoys coffee, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her boyfriend and their two cats in Fairfax, Virginia.
