We are a local, private duty home care agency providing non-medical home care services. Paragon Home Care is a licensed, bonded, and insured home care provider serving Northern Virginia families. We are an independent, family owned small business. - Stay indoors (or don’t stay outside for very long).
- Keep indoor temperature at 65 degrees or warmer.
- Stay dry because wet clothing chills your body more quickly.
- Dress smart – protect your lungs from cold air. Layer up! Wearing 2 or 3 thinner layers of loose-fitting clothing is warmer than a single layer of thick clothing. Think about getting your thermals!
- Essential winter wear: hats, gloves (or preferably mittens), winter coat, boots, and a scarf to cover your mouth and nose.

If you haven't yet, learn more about Glaucoma and how it can affect you or your loved one. Here are 5 things you may not have known about the disease:

1. Glaucoma can cause vision loss and blindness, which can’t be reversed.
2. There are no early symptoms
3. In the U.S. half the people who have glaucoma DO NOT know they do!
4. Some people are higher risk than others
5. There is only one way to know if you have glaucoma: taking a comprehensive dilated eye exam.

Last week we celebrated our amazing caregiving team with our annual 🎉 From all-day prizes and yummy food to a special Santa-and-elf delivery for those working throughout the day, it was all about showing our appreciation. Welcome to Paragon Home Care, Northern Virginia's premier senior care provider. We are a local, private duty home care agency providing non-medical home care services to assist with the activities of daily living.

We provide live-in care and hourly shifts, including short-shifts with no minimum requirements. We also provide PRN service for those residents who just want to have us ready to assist on an as-needed basis.

Our primary goal is to attract the best team of caregivers who view the caring for seniors as a calling and not just as a ‘job’. This shared approach to excellence has made us a trusted partner in our community, including many local facilities who call on us when their residents need assistance.
