I am super excited to be facilitating a clinical supervision group this fall for therapists working with eating disorders. This group will be held the SECOND Wednesday of the month from 12-1:15pm. This group will provide a safe, small environment for you to learn and grow. You will have the opportunity to work through cases you are having a hard time with, learning how to more effectively work with this population. Cost is $85/group

I am thrilled to share that I today completed my level 2 Advanced Trauma Treatment Training Program. Lisa Ferentz has been a colleague and mentor of mine for almost 20 years. For the past 6 months Ive have been traveling to Owings Mills, MD to participate in this program with 16 other clinicians. I feel fortunate to be able continue to provide psychotherapy to so many and this training has allowed me to connect with the expressive part of me as all the modalities we learned were connected to arts.

You are so much more than what a scale or history & physical says about you. Your inherent value cannot be increased or decreased based on these. All people have inherent value that is not determined by either their health or by their efforts to impact their health. Nutrition is such a small determinant of what impacts our health; there is so much we cannot control. So please remember illness and disease impact us all, and needing medication is not a moral or character failure.
