Things to avoid in your day to day activities:
#1 (this a big one for everyone) POOR POSTURE! It can be detrimental to everything: breathing, your neck, your back, your shoulders, your sports performance, your body language, digestion... staring at devices doesn't help. SIT and STAND up tall, pull the head back over your body (you're not a turtle). if it feels funny to start, then you are doing it right.
#2 Lifting improperly- injury waiting to happen, be mindful of how you do things like lifting or bending to pick something up. Use your legs as they say.
#3 Overtraining or overexertion-aging athletes blowing off some stress...be mindful of your body messages. Sleep, hydration, fueling, stress, can all play massive roles in how your body performs day to day during workouts.
#4 no warm ups or cool downs from workouts- especially in aging athletes.
