🗣️We’re excited to welcome Derek Harris, our new Vice President of Health & Wellness, to Artis Senior Living!

With nearly 15 years of industry experience, Derek brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the Artis family, as well as an innovative approach to improving care quality and business outcomes. His expertise in team building and value-based care initiatives will help us develop and implement programs that support holistic resident wellbeing, making sure our residents’ needs are met on every level.

When he’s not leading teams and collaborating with other industry pros, Derek contributes to industry publications, speaks at national conventions, and mentors the senior living leaders of tomorrow.

Beyond the holidays, our teams use these boxes throughout the year to support residents during transitions, hospital stays, or moments of anxiety. Each box becomes a tangible reminder of identity and belonging – and a beautiful expression of what compassionate memory care looks like in action!

Today we’re celebrating Artis of Princeton Junction resident Grace.

Grace enjoyed a long career in retail and as a fashion coordinator, and continues to prioritize looking her best. She has formed a special bond with Dylta, one of her care partners, who helps her get ready for the day, making sure that she looks her best. Her granddaughter paints her nails when she visits.

She celebrates her birthday all month long, enjoys her community’s coffee socials and opening the frequent letters she receives from friends and loved ones.
