If anyone is able to help with running my gofundme, I just have no idea what I'm doing. I am also up for doing traditional fundraising, raffles, bake sales, etc. We moved to Hollis so, my home community is very far away. I need a representative at home for someone to tell me it's pointless, futile, stupid...lol or keep trying, keep going, don't give up...lol. it's only been a couple of days and I'm not unrealistic. If I can get help, yay, if not I'm no worse off than before. I just need help.

Warning!!!! Long post ahead...

I know it's been a long while without an update. I apologize for that but I had actually been doing very good for the last few months until about a month ago. When my seizures picked back up with full force! I had been without a lot of IIH/Pseudotumor symptoms aside from my vision and pulsatile tinnitus. But the pressure had started back up along with the seizures 😑🀯😭!

I did go to the new specialist, Dr. Malik, she is a rheumatologist in Norman (who is incredibly amazing) and was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. This is a genetic arthritis that effects the lower spine and pelvis. It does not appear to be related to my IIH/Pseudotumor, so this is still considered idiopathic and not secondary to another condition.

Now, in the mean time, I started having some other issues which brings me to this post...I am having a uterine biopsy today πŸ€¨πŸ˜¬πŸ™„πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜«.

The following may be TMI so if you're squeamish stop reading because period talk is so yucky, lol... and this is also unrelated to IIH/Pseudotumor, however I'm beginning to think I'm a super medical anomaly (what a horrible super hero name, right!?), especially when every doctor I see says things like, "your case is strange"...or ... you're a super medical anomaly, lol!

When I was 26, I had to have both ovaries removed due to PCOS, which btw I've had many discussions with other IIH patients who have both diseases (something to be researched I'm sure but isn't). Anyway, because of the o***y removal, I have not had a menstrual cycle in 16 years and boom a month ago here I am having a random cycle like a 16 year old girl in her prime, mind you I was forced into menopause because of the o***y removal. So, now I'm sent to yet another specialist and she is also super awesome (Dr. Allison Willis)! She did an ultrasound and discovers that the lining of my uterus is nearly 3 times the thickness it should be in menopause and my hormone levels show that I'm no longer in menopause but I still have no ovaries and here I am being told by another doctor that I'm strange!

Which leads us to the uterine biopsy today... best case scenario it's caused by a polyp... she didn't talk worst case scenario...so we won't either!

If you're the praying kind, I could use prayers and if your not send good vibes my way please!

Today is a good day. Because I do not have cancer! I am very thankful and based on what Dr. Jones said it may very well be autoimmune. So, onto the next specialist. πŸ₯³πŸ‘©β€βš•οΈπŸ‘¨β€βš•οΈπŸ€·

My appointment is set for Thursday with Dr. Shari Jones at the Norman Regional Cancer Center. She is a MD but has a PHD in medical research, so Dr. Cochran said she likes a challenge and since he called me bizarre 🀣, I should be a great project for her. Keep those prayers coming. Sometimes we're tested, not to show our weaknesses but to discover our strengths. Lord, help me discover my strength. πŸ’ͺπŸ§ πŸ€”πŸ˜·πŸ€’πŸ€•

I finally got the picc line out. It has been a long 7 weeks with that thing in, I'm still running fever and my lab numbers aren't getting any better. So, my doctor is sending me to hematology and rheumatology. He thinks that the Pseudotumor is actually not idiopathic but caused by some other disease or condition. So, on to the next specialists. Grateful for amazing doctors! Keep praying!

Well, they let me come home before the weather came. We just have to watch out for return of brain infection symptoms, since they had to take me off all antibiotics, due to allergic reaction. Keep praying! If I have no infection symptoms return then they may take my picc line out early.
