OPTIX™ H3 Patient Specific Instrumentation System is a patient specific surgical planning and instrumentation to assist in the positioning of total ankle replacement components intraoperatively, and in guiding bone cutting.

Through the combination of 3D engineering and the patient’s own CT scan, a patient-specific preoperative plan is developed and tailored to fit surgeon preferences. Implant sizing and alignment are determined using the patient’s anatomic landmarks, and DuraForm® PA (nylon) Preoperative Navigation Cut Guides are then created which set resection guide locations.
