I'm a former IV He**in, and M**h user improving my health and wellness with the assistance of medications. I'm also an internationally known harm reductionist, and founder of the overdose response line called Never Use Alone. Five years ago I found my purpose when I got into recovery advocacy, but soon discovered how dirty, and dangerous, the treatment industry was. After nearly a year of seeing behind that dark curtain, I'd had enough, and wanted out. That's when I got into harm reduction, and found my true passion. Aside from starting Never Use Alone in September of 2019, I also do Narcan, and supply distribution in my local community. I'm passionate about drug policy reform, and keeping people who use drugs, healthy, and alive. Some of my certifications include SMART Recovery Facilitator, Nationally Certified Phlebotomist, and most recently, a certified recovery coach. In the near future I'll be continuing with my recovery coach certification by becoming a nationally certified recovery coach professional. With that designation I'll not only be able to provide recovery coach services, but I'll also be able to train others who want to become a certified recovery coach.
