What started as a game of live action Whack-a-mole got wild when we added some balloons to the mix and invented a new game of whack-a-mole noodle ball! The laughter coming from our residents makes rolling around in the floor pretending to be a mole worth while.

Today, we pause to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the example he set for us all.

His words and actions remind us to show compassion, listen to one another and treat everyone with dignity and respect.

We strive to carry those values forward in how we care for one another and serve our communities. 💛

Today we held our first Monthly Veterans Cafe with Gentiva. We read from Chicken Soup for The Soul and discussed what we read and learned this morning over coffee and snacks.

Our residents had a sing-a-long with Santa and the kiddos from Mustard Seed Nursery School today after lunch.

Our dear little friends from Mustard Seed Nursery School came by for a visit today and brought a special jolly friend with them!! Santa!

We love to celebrate the Holidays with the sweet kids from Mustard Seed! Every year our residents try to make them Easter Baskets and Halloween treats & in turn they bring Santa with them to visit us after lunch on the last day of school before winter break!
