Melissa Sanchez, DNP, FNP-BC
Melissa is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 16+ years of experience. She earned her DNP from Oregon Health & Science University and focuses on women’s health, wellness, and chronic disease management. She is passionate about delivering holistic, patient-centered care.
We’re excited to welcome Melissa this April!

Jill Miguez, FNP, CNM
Jill brings over eight years of experience and a compassionate, collaborative approach. She trained at Emory University and Tulane University, with a focus on pediatrics and women’s health. A former Peace Corps volunteer, she is dedicated to community-focused, equitable care.
Jill will be joining us in June 2026!

Nicole, MSN, FNP
Nicole is a Gonzaga University graduate with 10+ years of healthcare experience. She is dedicated to holistic, patient-centered care and has worked with diverse populations, including underserved communities in Portland. She strives to treat every patient with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Cold & flu season is upon us!
Flu vaccines protect you and those around you—especially babies, elders, and others at high risk. Get yours to help keep everyone healthy this flu season!
Sunrise is offering one more flu clinic to Sunrise patients and McMinnville School District students and staff families (we apologize, but are unable to vaccinate other community members, we recommend you get yours with your primary care or at the pharmacy).

Several providers at Sunrise are accepting new patients for a limited time, including Adam, Andrea, and (very limited space) Noelle.
We are limited on insurances (unfortunately no panel space for Medicare or OHP) and all three specialize in pediatrics and young(ish) adults, with a strong focus on prevention.

It's fall again!
Flu & COVID vaccine clinics for Sunrise Family Clinic and McMinnville SBHC patients (and MSD staff) will occur at the SBHC parking lot at 1500 NE Baker Street from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Tuesday, October 8 and from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Friday October 25. You can find more information on our website or page.
Vaccines are recommended for all patients over 6 months, but particularly important for high risk populations, such as children under 5, people over 50, and those with chronic health conditions. You can register for the clinics by calling ahead (503-474-3600) or through https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeshxTuXpRQfd_Du3GHfKytbxyjhkuLc5WfnZSeoGYqdP3srQ/viewform?usp=sf_link to help speed your time at the clinics up, but walk ins are also welcome. If the dates don't work for you, you can call the clinic to schedule a different time during normal business hours.

Adam is accepting new patients!
We are happy to say that Adam is here and as we have caught up the backlog, he is now able to accept new patients with certain private insurances that we are contracted with. Unfortunately, the clinic's Medicare and Medicaid/OHP panels are already over filled, so we are unable to accept those insurances at this time.
Adam has been a nurse practitioner for over 5 years and enjoys being a nurse practitioner as he loves connecting with families, practicing holistic care through the lifespan, being involved in the community, and advocating for patients. He specializes in children and young adults, and is accepting patients in those areas.

Our thanks to Susan & welcome Adam!
Susan Speece, FNP-C, came out of retirement to cover for Stephanie until we were able to find a perfect long term person. We are excited to say that we have found him, and are excited to welcome Adam Sanchez to the team. Adam is starting this April and will be adding days as we get into summer. This fall, we are increasing our hours, so until this time fills, we are opening the clinic to a limited number of new patients with insurances we accept (unfortunately, our panels for Medicare & OHP remain overfull). Once we are full, we will again close our panels, so tell your friends to take advantage of these openings to find out how wonderful our providers are (we love them at least)😊.

Taking new patients - for now =)
We frequently get calls about new patients, and for a long time we have only taken one here and there. As we go into fall, several of our wonderful nurse practitioners will be increasing their hours, so we will be taking a limited number of new patients with private insurance until the panels are full again.
Unfortunately, our Medicare & OHP panels remain overfull (we already have a much higher percentage of this population than any other private clinic we know of), so we are unable to accept these insurances at this time.

Pediatric COVID vaccines are in! We are trying to keep most vaccinations scheduled next Friday at the vaccine clinic to minimize effect on clinic flow, but if your child already has an appointment here next week or there is a specific reason you are unable to do 11/12, please let us know.
