Journey to Renewal Counseling Specializes in all issues with children and adolescents. We also work with individuals, couples, and families across the life span.

We are LGBTQ competent and affirming. Particularly with supporting transgender individuals. Christina Toney, LPC and owner of Journey to Renewal Counseling, is a licensed therapist who has been working with children and families in the community for over 18 years. She specializes in LGBTQ issues, particularly with transgender youth and adults and transition, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Trauma, Anxiety,

and other mental health and developmental issues. Christina is trained as a Counselor Supervisor and able to provide private supervision for licensure and ongoing practice. We accept Kaiser, YCCO (OHP Medicaid), as well as private pay.

Our Story

Christina Toney, LPC is a licensed therapist who has been working with children and families in community for 18 years. She specializes in ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Trauma, Anxiety, and other mental health and developmental issues. She practices from the philosophy of whole person health and wellness rather than a diseased or disordered orientation. She is certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Yoga Calm for Children, and trained in Parent-Infant Massage. In addition, Christina is trained as a Counselor Supervisor and able to provide private supervision for licensure and ongoing practice. She offers counseling for children, adolescents and adults as well as will be periodically offering parenting classes. Her services are by appointment only. She accepts most major insurances or private pay.
