6 years ago we pulled back on A.Iing most of our cows and thought we would give our own genetics a shot. By far one of the best and most profitable decisions we’ve made.

“Boone” puts pounds and performance on his calves and adds a whole lot of maternal style to our replacement females.

This summer has been challenging for everyone. We couldn’t be more proud of these pairs and the genetics behind them and how they’ve handled the last couple months.

We have a handful of Simmy influenced heifers and steers that will be weaned, roughed out and ready to come look at over the next couple weeks.

Knocking ✊🏼 on wood, but we are very thankful these last 10 days haven’t been as bad for us as they have some. We are thinking and praying for all the hard working farmers and ranchers!

New rotation in the barn tonight with this cool little gal. She was born in about 15 minutes and already up and trying to nurse in 5! She’s out of one of our best cows!

Finally broke out of jail and made it to a cow show! Thank you Kevin Shapland and crew for putting on a great show.

We crawled into bed at 3:30 this morning, and well worth it. Congrats to Jamie Turner with her champion % Char. And Sage Waggoner with a 4th overall prospect steer!
