Trying to fast all day today… and darn it, I’m already struggling 🥹
It’s not even 10am yet and I’m feeling it 🤤

I have fasted before, but it’s been a long time… and this long cold winter, I just didn’t feel like doing much of anything. I didn’t have the energy for it and kinda got away from taking care of myself like I should’ve.

So I’m just trying to get myself back right and into a better routine mentally and physically.

I keep telling myself I can do this… I just have to push through it. I know I’ll feel so much better if I make it through the day and don’t give in. It really is mind over body.

I’ve been looking into fasting again, and I remember when I was doing it before, I felt my best. My body just felt better overall.

There really are benefits when it’s done right helping your body clear out what it doesn’t need, giving your system a break, and supporting how your body naturally works, even down to your cells. It’s crazy when you start reading into it.

I’m still learning as I go with it, but at the end of the day it all comes back to taking care of yourself, listening to your body, and giving it what it needs. That’s really where my heart is with all of this… helping people feel better, myself included. Our bodies really are an amazing thing, and we only get one.

March is all filled up and I just want to say how truly thankful I am for every single one of you for supporting my small business and being a part of something that means so much to me… it really means more than you know 🤍

When the day feels slow, I move my body.

I’m trying to be more consistent with posting, and I’ll be honest, I struggle with knowing what to post.

I struggle with the technology side of running my business, but even more than that, I struggle with how to share my work without taking away from the experience my clients come in for. When someone comes in for a massage, facial including dermaplaning, permanent makeup (PMU), waxing, or lashes, they are paying for their time and their experience. I never want a phone or camera to make that feel less than.

At the same time, I know when I look at a business page myself, I want to see real work and real results. I completely understand that, and I am trying to figure out how to do both. Giving my clients the experience they deserve while still showing what I do.

When I am creating content, the appointment will not flow the same way it normally does. Some of my attention would be on filming and capturing my work so I can build a profile and show what I offer. Because of that, it is only something I would do with someone who truly understands and is comfortable with that.

If that sounds like something you would be open to, please reach out. I would be happy to offer something off a future service as a thank you. 💛

This is my husband ♥️
He’s up before sunrise, does heavy labor all day as a logger, keeps a business running, does long-distance races (and runs just to run), and still somehow manages to take care of me and whatever project I’ve got him doing. So when he finally laid down on my table… his body told the whole story.

Fun fact about me… I’m terrified of veins 🫣
When I was younger I couldn’t even look at them and my friends knew it so of course they messed with me all the time 😂

Now I work on them every day… never thought I’d be able to do that 💪 😬 ✋

This little spa is my baby 🩷

I started it a few months ago in my husband’s grandma’s home, a place that’s always felt special to our family. I wanted to create something meaningful here, and honestly, I didn’t know how it would go. But it’s slowly coming to life because of the people who’ve trusted me enough to walk through the door.
Before opening the spa, I went to esthetician school with my youngest sister, and I’ve loved working in that field ever since. A few years later, seeing my middle sister succeed as a massage therapist and watching how much she loved helping people made me realize I wanted to combine both esthetics and massage in my own way. I genuinely love both, and being able to do what I love and see the difference it makes for the people who come in that’s what keeps me going.
To the clients who have come in already you know who you are … thank you. Your support, your trust, and the connections we’ve made in such a short time mean more to me than I can say. Even in just a few months, this little space has started to feel like what I imagined a place built with care and heart. I’m still learning, still growing, and looking forward to making it even more of the space I’ve dreamed of. Part of that in the new year is putting a little more attention into the Airbnb side too, so it can grow alongside the spa. They say if you build it, they will come … and I’m so grateful to the people who’ve already shown up. 3 Sisters Spa is called that because my dream has always been for all three of us to work alongside each other someday. For now, it’s just me running the space, with my sisters helping when needed, and I hope as the business grows, it can become exactly what I’ve imagined.

Here’s to 2026, to growing, and to seeing you inside soon. 🤍
