This year marks the 8th year of the Tibetan Buddhist monks from Gaden Shartse Monastery visiting our Meadow Vista community at Ayama Yoga.

On Tuesday, February 24, the monks will honor us with the Golden Nectar Ceremony.

Sacred chanting, visualizations, and a special "nectar" are brought forth in a ceremony to purify negative karma, overcome obstacles, and bestow blessings for spiritual clarity, long life, and fulfillment.

See the flyer for details. Doors open at 6 and the ceremony begins at 6:30 pm. There's a suggested donation of $15 to $20 for the monks, their school, and the tour. No amount is too little, however, so it's budget-friendly.

Dear beautiful Yogis,

As we enter the season of gratitude, we are invited to count our blessings for all the gifts of the passing year. Our yoga journey paves the way to an appreciation for all the beauty of the world and amplifies our perception of the gifts that surround us.
There are times when, through the events and news of the world, our perception is blurred, and we see only the veneer cast over the magnificence beneath. Our practice enables us to see through the veil, to remember that each breath, consciously received, is a gift, each asana reflects the miracle of the human vessel within which our spirits experience the tangible, and each connection to another being is precious and utterly significant.

Thus, we unite in dedication to the practice of yoga—not always an easy task—a commitment to take the time and physical effort to engage the body and settle the mind. The fruit of our commitment awakens the gifts for which we are deeply grateful.

May we share in the bounty of beauty, grace, and being.

Tomorrow! 10–11:30 a.m. at Ayama Yoga. We have a few seats available yet. Join us for this special and powerful practice taught by Khenpo Karma Tenkyong. This unique form of yoga is designed to be accessible and beneficial for people of all ages and skill levels—whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner looking to deepen your practice.
