Tonight we were spoiled by Hunter's Inn.
They sent boneless wings, pretzel bites, ranch blue cheese celery carrots, fruit salad and dough boy fingers as dessert.

The guest went bonkers!!! We had very full bellies when dinner was over.

Thank you for loving on us so well ❤️❤️❤️

I didn’t know we could talk about that here!

There are subjects, that appear to be our problems. Most of us have many of these, problems. Some are the kind that we talk about to our friends or our spouse. Others we just hold inside, sure that people would be shocked and overwhelmed if they knew who we really are.
It doesn’t matter where or when we struggle, we want to look our best. I had a friend many years ago, who would tell me I had the Joe Hollywood complex. I wanted to always look good. What’s the problem with that?
I struggle as we all do with problems and quite a few of them, but we have been given a solution.
The Bible calls these problems sin. Here at Transformed Biblical Counseling Center, we have a book that has all the answers to all of our problems. Of course, that book is the Bible, God’s word.
Anxiety, Marital Strife, Depression, Conflict & Anger, Abuse Sexual & Physical, as well as Addiction in all kinds of varieties; are all addressed in the Bible. For each of these God’s word has the help and answers you are seeking.
Do you struggle, of course you do? We can point you in a direction that has sound answers to real problems.

Please contact us for biblical Counseling.

Video Games what did you play when you were a kid Dad?
I remember the day that I took my oldest son to the video game store. Of course, in those days the stores were completely different; only a few games existed. They seemed miraculous and amazing to both my son and I.
I remember my son asking what video games I played as a kid. Well, I confided to him, the games I played were quite a bit different. The only games available were pinball and pool . My parents were well-known in the community and what I heard them say was that I shouldn't be seen going in and out of a pool hall. Those may not be the exact words but the unspoken words, that I heard.
Today we have video games on our phones, TVs, and computers. These can consume us at times. They are not the real problem. What is the real problem? They consume us, and start to control us. They then begin to demand all of our time and allegiance. They start to take us to places that we don't want to go, consuming all of our time and thoughts.
Of course, these activities seem innocent at first. They grow in us and demand more and more of us. These may be gambling, alcohol, and can take many other forms.
The one I desire to talk about today is the p**n that we find on the Internet. It is readily available. Almost anyone can get around the blocks that we put in place. Libraries and schools, the work place or restaurants. The list can go on and on.
I work more and more with young men that I am at least half a century older than. I see the devastation. It usually starts innocently. Maybe just talking about it with a friend. Looking online, at something that is too explicit or slightly revealing. It then progresses and moves forward as if it has a life of its own; consuming everything in its path. Very quickly the innocent little looks become a sin. (or as the world calls it an addiction). It isolates us and starts to control us. It quickly consumes us to a point where the only thing we are interested in is looking. The looking is the s*xual fantasy world that we see on the web.
Transformed Biblical Counseling Center is a safe place to work through your struggles.
I work with Men who struggle with all forms of Po*******hy and the ongoing effects of that in their daily lives.
We do find success and freedom. Men who are willing to put in some work and be honest can and find help and hope.
We are a scriptural and biblical-based counseling center. We have found that God and His word as the solution to all of our problems.
If you struggle with po*******hy, too much Internet usage, or similar topics.

Contact me. I would love to sit down and talk with you.

Language is what we use to communicate with others. What do the words that we use tell others?

Recently I was in a lumberyard someone ask how much does a two-by-four run, My instant thought was. Two-by-fours can't run. They can't even walk. Of course, this isn't what the person meant. What they wanted to know was what is the price of a 2 x 4 x 8 board.

When going to a doctor. I like to take my wife with me. I do that because they talk in a language that I rarely understand completely (Sandy is a nurse). So upon getting into the car, often my first comments are. What were they trying to say to me?

Language It's like that. Sometimes it's extremely clear, we know exactly what the other one is saying, but often, we’re guessing a little bit.

At Transformed Biblical Counseling Center we use language that others often don't understand as well. People in churches. People at jobs. People in counseling. We all use language that needs to be defined for others to understand fully.

A common word that is used often is addiction. What is addiction? What do we usually mean, when talking about addictions? Alcoholism. eating disorder, s*xual addiction, drug addiction, on and on the terms go. But these words are definitions that are used to help describe a problem. That problem can be seen by others. At TBCC we use a term for addiction as well. Life dominating sin. The church. calls, addiction sin. Regardless of the name that we attach to addiction. It is life-destroying.

In the early days of Alcoholics Anonymous. A book was written called The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. And in there it says that we have a spiritual problem. The problem is not alcohol. The problem is what drives us to alcohol. In counseling, we often refer to that problem as a sin. The Bible was written many, many years before AA came onto the scene. The Bible defines what addiction really is. It is a spiritual problem we are separated from God.

At TBCC we use biblical principles to fix worldly problems or sinful problems.

Good morning as I sit here in my office, I consider all the things I must do today. But what takes priority? We often hear that recovery from an addiction is a spiritual problem, and those people are correct. If that is correct and I believe it is. Then spending time with God should top the list. But who is God? I can make almost anything into a god. Money, job, relationships, s*x, drugs, alcohol these all can for a short time appear to be a savior to me.
But is the God who can save me found in any of these man-made things?
At Transformed we use trusted long-term solutions giving you the solution to the empty black hole that resides in each of us. Nothing man-made can fill that hole. If you are an addict anything like I was I needed more than what was available from man. I needed and still do a truly spiritual encounter with a Holy God capable of giving me the peace that I have been searching for.
