Rosie’s quiet strength and compassion shine as she sits with those nearing the end of life, offering a silent prayer, and ensuring they are never alone. She checks in with families, listens to their stories, and makes sure their needs are met with love and care.

As we enter the season of gratitude and prepare for Thanksgiving, we reflect on the importance of our local community partnerships. These deeply-rooted connections are an extension of our mission “to be the people, places and programs that nurture the spirit of life,” both inside our walls and beyond.

With 28 locations in five states, each Juniper community has woven its own unique tapestry of ties to the local community. These partnerships are vast and varied. A Night of Mystery, Magic, and Meaning!

Juniper Village was proud to collaborate with Me Again Boutique LLC for a dazzling Murder Mystery Show, benefiting their inspiring Mentor Program, an initiative that equips individuals with hands-on experience in prosthetic mastectomy wear, helping them grow and thrive across Northwest PA and beyond.

The event was a fundraising success, and the overwhelming support from our community truly left us speechless. From the laughter to the suspense, every moment was unforgettable!

The Castle was set for a grand Celebration Feast… until our beloved King was mysteriously murdered! Thankfully, our guests rose to the challenge, piecing together clues to solve the mystery of who did it and why!

Rain Couldn't Stop Our Halloween Fun!

We didn't let a little rain dampen our Halloween spirit! We simply moved the trick-or-treating indoors and still had a wonderful time celebrating.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special for community members. Your presence and enthusiasm made all the difference!

We are also deeply grateful to all who donated candy and graciously lent a hand in making this event a success.

November Spotlight: Celebrating Our Wonderful Chef, Lori Chiodo!

At Juniper Village, the best meals are made with love, and few people embody that more than our talented Chef and Dining Director, Lori Chiodo!

For over three years, Lori has poured her heart into serving our community. For her, the real reward goes beyond the plate—it's the face-to-face moments, the smiles, and the shared laughter with community members that truly matter.

Lori's philosophy is simple but powerful: "We are here for you."

From leading joyful holiday celebrations to making sure every person feels seen and heard, her compassion and dedication enrich our community every single day. She thrives on making people happy, and her advice to new associates is wise: "Be here for the right reasons, the whole community counts on you."

Resident Spotlight: Celebrating Nancy Leech

At Juniper Village, every person has a story worth celebrating, and this month, we're shining a light on Nancy Leech, an inspiring member of our community!

At 84 years young, Nancy's roots run deep in her beloved "little hometown" of Meadville, PA. Her life is a beautiful testament to love, having shared an incredible 64-year marriage with her soulmate, Tom.

Nancy has since made Juniper Village her home, a place she adores thanks to the caring associates, leadership team, and fellow community members.

Her talents are as vibrant as her personality! Nancy is a prolific seamstress, quilter, and embroiderer, with her beautiful creations adding heartfelt warmth throughout the Village. She also brings incredible energy to Cardio Drumming and the Cooking Club!

Nancy's advice to new community members is a perfect reflection of her kind spirit: "Make the most out of your time here and enjoy your new friends, because they’ll become your new family."

Nancy, thank you for being a shining light at Juniper Village. We are so lucky to have you!
