Every life has a story worth preserving. ❤️
We are honored to share this special StoryCorps interview featuring Wesbury resident Kathy Brady, who at 103 years young reflects on her remarkable life experiences—from attending college at a time when women were not always welcomed, to life as the bride of a Navy soldier during World War II.
Recorded in partnership with the Crawford County Historical Society, Kathy’s story is now preserved as part of the StoryCorps Archive at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
StoryCorps’ mission is “to help us believe in each other by illuminating the humanity and possibility in us all — one story at a time.” We invite you to listen to Kathy’s incredible journey and help us celebrate the power of preserving local history and personal stories for future generations.
