As I near retirement age and new opportunities, I realize how lucky I am to be healthy enough to enjoy what lies ahead. I have always been active and have done the stupid things we all do to our bodies when we are younger. Some of those stupid things lead to disk herniations in the L5, S1. Not once, but twice an awesome physical therapist and chiropractor saved me from surgery. Their skills in helping me heal lead me on the health and fitness path as a personal trainer, sports performance and speed coach. I now concentrate on helping clients manage chronic conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders as an Advanced Medical Exercise Specialist and Functional Nutritionist.
