🚴‍♀️🚑 Honoring Our Heroes on the PA EMS Memorial Bike Ride 🚑🚴‍♂️

Today, EMMCO West, Inc. staff had the privilege of assisting with the PA EMS Memorial Bike Ride—a powerful event where riders pedal in remembrance of the EMS heroes who gave their lives in service to others. Their efforts also raise vital scholarship funds for the PA EMS Provider Foundation, ensuring future generations of EMS professionals are supported.

We extend our sincere thanks to the departments who generously opened their doors as water stops along today’s route: Mckean Hose Company,
Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department,
West Mead #2 Volunteer Fire Department, Cochranton VFD, and
Sandy Lake VFD.

A special thank you as well to EmergyCare who hosted the start of this year’s ride—the first leg of a three-day journey of remembrance, unity, and resilience.

To the riders: we honor your dedication, perseverance, and the meaningful tribute you bring to our EMS family. 💙

What an awesome day at the Warren County Career & Technical Center! We had the chance to work with 36 incredible students exploring future careers in Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement. Introducing these paths early on can make a lasting impact, and we were honored to be part of it. The program’s success already has plans in motion for next year—great job, Warren County! 👏🚒🚑👮‍♂️

We’re on a mission—to grow the EMS workforce and inspire the next generation of lifesavers.

Late last week, we received our brand-new recruitment signs, and we couldn’t be more excited to see them already making an impact in our communities. These signs represent more than just a message—they’re a bold statement of our commitment to strengthening and sustaining emergency services across the region.

As part of EMS Week, we proudly distributed a few during our visits, and seeing them displayed so quickly reminds us how deeply our community believes in this cause. Want to join the movement? Signs are available at our office, or we’d be happy to bring them to you.

We’re also revamping our website to better connect future EMS providers with the services that need them most. Together, let’s build a stronger, more resilient EMS system—one passionate provider at a time.
