The Allegheny Pre-Vet club is a great place for students interested or thinking about pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, and to meet people who are interested as well. The club helps students learn about the various veterinary schools throughout the country and abroad, helps the students gain animal and veterinary experience, and gain knowledge about the application process through speaking to students currently going though applying to veterinary schools. The club also provides opportunities to attend nearby veterinary schools, and speak to veterinarians through the surrounding areas to gain insight into the field of veterinary medicine.
