Our residents have asked for a Fall Festival Feast this year for Thanksgiving and I need your help. They are wanting their own version of a Homochitto River Festival such as vendors where they can "purchase" items. We are asking for DONATION items for them to shop during this event. Of course they will not be paying for the items but we want to make this experience seem as real as we can to them. Also, if you would like to come and set up a booth that would be awesome as well. Booths can be games, gifts and treats. Please contact Marka Beeson for more information. 6013203735

🍬 Halloween Candy Donations Needed 🍬

Halloween is approaching and passing out candy is one of our residents’ favorite events!!

We are asking the community for candy donations!!! Please bring donations to the nursing home to our activities department!!

We would like to Thank “Eddiceton Baptist Women’s Missions” for sponsoring our August Meadville Convalescent Home Store and donating candy for our Halloween event!

Because of you our residents are dressed in the best pajama fashion with matching grippy socks listening to their favorite songs on the radio while smelling fresh and sitting on the front porch or the comfort of their rooms! ☺️

Just a little bit from the precious Ally Jordan who reached out to us: We are from Eddicetion Baptist out on Veto Rd. We try to help with local needs in the community and even global if we can and know of a need. Right now we have around 20 women that participate and we have been so blessed to be able to help contribute to our community. We are coming up on one year of being a group!

We have been so pleased with our garden this year.

It was my first time to grow a garden with our residents and I wanted them to be able to eat from it. Our peppers showed out the most.

I purchased 2 Boston butt pork roast, took their banana peppers from the garden and used the Mississippi Roast recipe and loaded the crock pot down.

Almost every resident in attendance tried the roast and gave their review. What made it even better was they were also getting spiritually fed by Brother Tyson during their meal.

These are the best memories!
